With mortgage interest rates projected to increase, and recent rising prices, the Hudson Valley real estate market is beginning to shift. Even though the inventory is still high due to several counties holding moratoriums on short sales and foreclosures, finally they are beginning to clear out. There are signs that prices will increase in some areas, that mixed with interest rates inching up is making buyers nervous and they are out in droves, even in the midst of winter.
