Getting the most out of your heating system.
Submitted by Dave Bertola
As we all know preventative maintenance is the key to keeping heating systems efficient, as well as preserving the system's life span for as long as possible. Since this past winter was one that went down in history, (especially the month of February, whew!) a yearly cleaning is recommended. Due to the temperature outside there has been a constant need for heat and our heating systems have been working overtime.
It may cost a few bucks to get your system serviced however if it could increase the life span of your system up to 5-10 years if not longer. A couple dollars now could make the difference between replacing your system halfway through its predicted life span or having a system that could last longer than intended. This servicing will not only save you money down the road because your Heating System will last longer, but it will function more efficiently, which will save you money up front as well!!
